Bachchans head back home as Big B falls ill

After flying last evening to Jaipur to celebrate the 32nd birthday of Abhishek, the Bachchan family is now heading back to Mumbai as actor Amitabh Bachchan complained of being unwell due to the extremely cold weather that is prevailing in the northern part of the country. Unfazed by reports of their house getting attacked in Mumbai, the Bachchan family along with friend and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh had headed to Jaipur for a quiet celebration. Amitabh Bachchan, who hails from UP, had been facing critical accusations of being biased by Raj Thackeray for the newly opened all girls collage in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh named Shrimati Aishwarya Bachchan Girls’ Degree College. The social move outraged the head of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), Raj Thackeray, on grounds that immigrants are sidelining Maharashtrians, the city`s original inhabitants.

The party has since been leading the campaigning against "outsiders" which has targetted migrants from northern India in Mumbai. Apparently Thackeray is of the view that Mumbai should have been the first preference for the Bachchans for opening up a charitable educational institute. However the MNS chief washed his hands off the attack on Big B’s house at Juhu called Pratiksha, saying his men were not responsible for the act.Amitabh Bachchan, who has not issued any public statement on the matter yet has however, let known from sources that he shall be willing to open up a school in Mumbai too, but has been unable to do so as the city has no large-scale property to offer.
